Ops Network

Calling all operations professionals!  The next outing for the ESSA ‘Ops Network’ will be at the show on Friday 16th July from 2pm.

Following member feedback Chris Skeith, ESSA Director, will introduce the new format for this free must attend event for ops professionals, before handing over to two key industry figures;

2pm to 3pm: Kate Barratt from KWOPS Events & Exhibition Management, will Chair the first session specifically targeted at freelancers and owners of SME’s providing them with help and assistance in the running of their businesses, and introduce the results of extensive industry research on a possible ESSA Professional Affiliation Scheme.

Following a short break, the ‘The Hub Theatre’ will be opened up to ops professionals from organisers, venues and contractors;

3pm to 4pm: Kellie Reynolds from Clarion Events, along with Kate, will Chair the second session where ‘issues of the day’ will be discussed in an open forum. The ‘issues’ will be raised by the attendees themselves, either from the floor or via the new ‘ESSA Ops Network’ LinkedIn group.  This unique format allows best practice and industry solutions to be shared and debated, providing practical solutions for use on the exhibition floor.

From 4pm attendees will move over to ‘The Hub Networking Suite’ for drinks, and continued discussions.
